Tim joined Stewart Group in 2023 as Risk Insurance Manager, with four decades in financial services behind him, including 25 years in banking and the past 15 focused on risk management. He works with individuals, families, business owners and farmers, helping them protect what matters and make confident decisions about their financial future.
At the heart of Tim's work is a simple idea: getting the right money to the right people at the right time. He takes a warm, practical approach, cutting through complexity so clients can make clear decisions and move forward feeling protected and supported. With a NZ Certificate in Financial Services and a career shaped by real-world financial outcomes, he brings a grounded perspective that's especially valuable when life doesn't go to plan.
Away from the office, Tim is one of Hawke's Bay's most recognisable voices. Best known as the 'Voice of McLean Park', he announces for the Hawke's Bay Magpies rugby and Central Stags cricket, reflecting his equal passion for both codes. A career highlight came when he MC'd the All Blacks squad announcement ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. He also hosts the Centralines Sports Show on Central FM each Saturday morning and Stewart Group's own podcast, The Adviser Talk, where he sits down with advisers to unpack a wide range of financial topics.
