BRENT ALLCOCK
Financial Adviser
(FSP770474)
For Brent Allcock, good financial advice is about more than growing wealth. It's about giving people the clarity to get on with living well.
Based in Stewart Group's Wellington office, Brent joined the firm as a Financial Adviser in November 2020. He works with clients at every stage of life — families and business owners building wealth for the long term, and retirees considering how to draw on what they have built and the legacy they want to leave. Whatever the stage, his starting point is the same: helping people understand where they stand today and what to do next.
What drives Brent is helping people find their footing in a financial world that can feel complex and overwhelming. Many of his clients arrive unsure of their position and the right way forward. He takes a warm, collaborative approach, beginning with what matters most to each person and building from there. His process is careful and considered, but the conversation stays plain-spoken and free of jargon. Over time, clients move from feeling stuck to feeling confident, informed and in control of their direction.
Brent brings more than three decades in financial services, with experience across New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. His career has spanned credit reporting, debt management and financial advice, including senior training and leadership roles. That breadth gives him a practical understanding of both the technical and personal sides of managing wealth — including the added complexity of working across borders.
Outside his advisory work, Brent is active in the community through Rotary and as a trustee for charitable organisations. He is also an accomplished singer who continues to perform professionally in opera and theatre across New Zealand, Australia and Singapore.
