PAULA ENTICOTT
Financial Adviser
(FSP1008816)
Paula works with individuals and families across Hawke's Bay and beyond, helping them make sense of their finances and feel confident about what lies ahead. She joined Stewart Group in 2021 and provides advice across financial planning, wealth management, investments, KiwiSaver and ACI Funds, with additional expertise in Australian superannuation and UK pension transfers. Her work spans clients at different stages of life, from younger families building toward a clear future, to those approaching or in retirement seeking certainty about what comes next.
For Paula, good advice starts well before any plan is written. She believes it's about understanding why people make the decisions they do, not just what those decisions are. That conviction comes through in how she works: careful listening first, so clients feel heard and informed rather than directed, and a genuine effort to understand the thinking and circumstances behind each person's situation. She takes the time to make sure clients understand the reasoning behind every recommendation, building trust through clarity and consistency.
Paula holds a Bachelor in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and is a member of the Global Association of Independent Advisers. Before moving into financial advice, she worked in HR and operations, a background that continues to shape her approach today. It reinforced her belief that no two people are the same, and that good advice must be tailored, considered, and grounded in each client's individual circumstances.
Outside work, Paula's husband and children are at the centre of her world. She's a family-focused outdoor enthusiast who you'll often find camping, trail running or mountain biking, or making the most of a sunny Hawke's Bay day at the beach. She also has a real appreciation for sharing good food and drink with family and friends.
