Taraia’s role at Stewart Group focuses on growing the Asset Class KiwiSaver offering and supporting the development of ACI Funds across retail and wholesale clients. He brings 16 years of experience in financial services, including a career in Australia spanning mortgage lending, consumer and business banking. His work now centres on helping individuals and advisory firms make steady, informed progress toward their goals.

Taraia is motivated by people's drive to grow and succeed. Clients often come to conversations unsure of their next step. Through a supportive, down-to-earth approach and clear, practical guidance, that uncertainty is replaced with clarity and confidence. They leave knowing someone has taken the time to listen, to find a solution, and to back them to succeed.

Taraia holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) in Financial and Investment Advice. He also holds Diplomas in Sports Science and Exercise Prescription, and Sports Management.

His background reflects a long-standing interest in performance, discipline and continuous improvement, principles that carry through into the way he supports clients in their financial lives.

Outside of work, Taraia keeps things active and grounded. You will often find him on the basketball court, out walking, or spending time with his family, the people who keep him balanced and remind him what all of this is for.
