Nick joined the financial services industry in 1999, working with various New Zealand based Fund Managers following the completion of his Bachelor of Business Studies at Massey University.
He spent a number of years at an investment group, where he managed various equity trading portfolios, in addition to his primary roles of loan development, property and loan securitisation.
He is the CEO of Stewart Group and holds a number of directorships in privately owned companies and independent trusteeships.
He is an Authorised Financial Adviser, Accredited Investment Fiduciary, Associate Financial Planner of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA), a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and Global Alliance of Investment Advisers.
Outside of work hours Nick enjoys beekeeping, scuba diving, skiing, hunting, wine appreciation, restoring his Series 1 Land Rover and spending time with his wife Jenny and their two children. He is a keen follower of history, especially the Scots, the Crusades, and his childhood hero, the flying ace, Manfred von Richtofen - 'The Red Baron'.
