Debbie was raised in Central Hawkes Bay before moving to Palmerston North to attend Massey University and commence her accounting career.
She spent 5 years working with Wilkinson Wilberfoss Accountants and Sunbeam NZ in accounting, audit and supervisory roles before taking maternity leave to raise a family in Feilding. During that time Debbie undertook early childhood education work and completed several papers towards her Teachers Aide certificate.
On rejoining the workforce, Debbie was Business Manager for 3 years with Stroud Equestrian Supplies before spending the next 6 years as Administration Manager with ProTen Ltd.
Debbie joined Stewart Group in 2007 as Accounts Manager, where she manages the group’s financial accounts, revenue, expenses, budget and payroll.
Outside of work hours Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, most types of craftwork, gardening and reading. She also dabbles with painting in acrylics and was thrilled when she sold one of her paintings.
