Nick joined the financial services industry in 1996, working with various New Zealand based Fund Managers following the completion of his Bachelor of Business Studies at Massey University.

He previously advised Trident Property Limited, a specialist property investment, development and management company. He also spent a number of years at Strategic Investment Group, where he managed various equity trading portfolios, in addition to his primary roles of loan development, property and loan securitisation.

Nick is an Executive Director and General Manager of Stewart Group and holds a number of directorships in privately owned companies.

He is an Authorised Financial Adviser, Associate Financial Planner of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA), a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and the National Party Economic Policy Advisory Group, Trustee for the New Zealand Education Trust and Treasurer for the Asset Class Investors Group.

Outside of work hours Nick enjoys scuba diving, skiing, hunting, wine appreciation, restoring his landrover and spending time with his wife Jenny and their children. He is a keen follower of history, especially the Scots and his childhood hero, the flying ace, Manfred von Richtofen - 'The Red Baron'.
