Josh attained his Authorised Financial Adviser status in November 2011 and can now provide advice to all clients.

Josh was raised in Hawkes Bay before moving to Wellington to attend Victoria University and complete a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration and also a Bachelor of Laws.  Whilst studying he tutored several accounting papers and worked part time at the Companies Office.

Following his graduation, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the taxation services team.  He later qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.

After 4 years with PWC, Josh travelled overseas extensively.  He worked in Bermuda for a Bermudian bank, Butterfield Fulcrum, before moving to Australia and worked for investment and retirement firm, Australian Unity. 

After living and working overseas for 4 years, Josh and his partner Jody, returned to Hawkes Bay late 2010 where they married.

Josh joined Stewart Group in 2011 where he provides business support services for the wealth team.
Josh is an avid sports fan, particularly following rugby, league, cricket and baseball.  He has played club cricket for the last 10 years and also enjoys cycling, tramping and playing squash.  You may also find him reading or spending time with good friends and family.
